biosphere series: landscapes

When still a child, I suspected that the world was filled with overflowing generosity and that all nature was connected. At the age of 14, my theory was affirmed after reading Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, a paleontologist, geologist and Jesuit priest.  He introduced me to the word biosphere. It is defined as the ecological relationship between the crust of the earth, the air in the sky and the waters that flow around us.

I am still fascinated by that today and observing the beauty in the interaction, the movement, and the light. I hope that it stirs your heart with gratitude and awareness of the constant moving and life-giving grace that nurtures body and soul.
